Technical Floorplan Illustrator

Job description: The successful candidate will work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in manual manipulation of floorplan pieces to ensure they fit together seamlessly. Experience with Adobe Illustrator is required (Photoshop is a plus). Experience with Autocad and Google Suite preferred. Interest and experience in architecture or real estate is a plus. This position is onsite, entry-level, full-time and will start with a 6 months probationary period. Salary $19-$20/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Floorplan Production Team: Create interior 2D floorplans of homes in Illustrator using a Builders blueprint or feedback as reference for our custom interactive software program.
  • Input client data into Google Drive spreadsheets & into our custom interactive software program.
  • Manage and update project tasks in our project management system.
  • Maintains training documentation for new employees (once acclimated to this position).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred, not required)
  • 1-3 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator (experience with Photoshop a plus)
  • Experience with Google Suite (particularly Sheets & Docs)
  • Attention to detail – ability to achieve thoroughness & accuracy when accomplishing a task
  • Ability to analyze and understand the relationships between floorplan pieces and how they impact the overall floorplan
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Team player with ability to switch up tasks to assist coworkers and meet client needs
  • Multitasking skills – Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines efficiently, and navigate various software tools for communication and project management.
  • Ability to learn fast/adapt to changing systems, processes or skilled in creating systems/exploring processes to improve efficiency
  • Highly dependable with a proactive, self-motivated approach to tasks
  • Must be able to commute and work in office
  • Portfolio or examples of work/projects (if available)
