Anewgo Marketplace-Design Your Dream Home
Anewgo Marketplace launched about a month ago and today we’re talking about one very specific feature that makes Anewgo.com different from all other portals out there such as Zillow, RedFin and New Home Source. And that’s an ability to design new homes online. Today we’re talking about this feature and its benefits from 3 different perspectives: John Lee will represent the buyer, Sara Williams the builder and Anya Chrisanthon the realtor.
Meet the Presenters:
John Lee-CEO
Starting his career in various financial roles within a Fortune 100 manufacturing company, John made a career-changing jump in 1999, as the VP of Finance, raising $9M for a Silicon Valley startup. This transformational experience at the dawn of the internet age, fueled John’s passion to transform the tech laggard New Construction industry. Following the dot com bust in 2001, John returned to his Raleigh, NC roots to pursue his vision. Since New Homes don’t physically exist, he began by co-founding Rendering House to create renderings to sell unbuilt homes. In 2020, he transformed Rendering House to Anewgo, a software company that enables buyers to buy new homes online. John has Business degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He also earned a NC Real Estate license and is a developer and owner of a 54K sf mixed-use development. Now an empty-nester with 3 grown kids and a dog, John and his wife enjoy gardening and making endless home improvements.
Sara Williams-Director of Sales
Sara started out in the new home industry 18 years ago in Pittsburgh, PA as an onsite sales agent. With an urge to get into marketing, she became Heartland Homes’ marketing coordinator and online sales counselor (OSC). During her 6 years as OSC, she grew the team from 1 to 3 OSCs, managed over 4000 leads at any given time, and personally assisted in 35% of all company sales and her team assisted in over 50% of all sales. Sara was the first winner of NAHB National Sales and Marketing Council Gold Award for Online Sales Counselor in 2013 and then moved and became a marketing director for a home builder in Charleston, SC. During Sara’s time working for home builders her love for technology, service, and client experience grew and she knew she could serve the industry in a bigger way. She decided to move into new home technology where she could leverage all of her passions and skills and help builders all over the US, Canada, and beyond. This led to an extremely successful career at ECI Lasso CRM and ECI LotVue interactive mapping technology for 6 years and presently at Anewgo, an interactive, visualization and analytics software and content company.
Anya Chrisanthon-Chief Brand Officer
Anya Chrisanthon is the Chief Brand Officer at Anewgo. Anewgo helps home builders to create seamless shopping journeys online with interactive digital content, data analytics, and sales conversion tools. Anya is a Host of Anewgo of New Home Sales-a weekly Podcast where she discusses the hottest innovative sales and marketing technologies for the home building industry. She brings her combined experience as a new home salesperson, marketing strategist and technologist to improve the way we sell new construction. Anya is a recipient of numerous industry awards including NAHB’s One To Watch, Pro Builder’s Forty Under 40 and she is recognized as one of the top influencers in the home building industry.
